After the epic success of Avatar in India, looks like Bollywood has woken up to the 3D inspiration. Many a film makers from B-Town have finally decided to follow the 3D tracks.
Farah Khans husband,film editor turned film-maker, Shirish Kunder is the first to announce his 3D venture Joker starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead. The film is slated to be an adventure fantasy and will be the first Bollywood 3D film.
Elizabeth director Shekhar Kapur was the next in line to announce his plans. He is set to revive his ambitious project Paani in 3D format. Also, Ram Gopal Varma has announced that his next flick, Raksha will also follow the 3D format. With three Indian directors making their announcements, reports state that the director duo Abbas-Mustan have tied up with a New York-based special effects company to make a 3D film.
